Gerald Bramm, CMRP, is the president of Bramm Research, a firm that focuses on conducting member surveys and other types of research on behalf of associations. He is a member of the CSAE and is the research partner of CSAE’s Trillium network. Gerald has been a member of the MRIA (Marketing Research and Intelligence Association) for 28 years.

Digital Transformation. Who’s Doing What? A Report from the Frontlines

How are new technologies like artificial intelligence, machine learning, big data, etc. impacting associations? Is your association ready for digital transformation? Digital transformation is not about a new website, logo or the latest social media platform: it is about retooling the organization with systems and processes (web, social, email, billing, programming, member management, advocacy, etc.) to be truly member-centric. It is also about differentiating and empowering the organization to improve its service levels, member retention, and outreach using the digital channel.

This session will share the results of a joint association study conducted by 108 ideaspace and Bramm Research, which illuminated the current state of digital capabilities within associations across Canada-- and the key success factors and barriers to transformation. The study also benchmarked the biggest benefits of using digital technologies and their associated costs for the association. Presenters will share their recommended model/approach for digital transformation, and each attendee will receive a copy of the Digital Transformation Trends Report.
